Our 2022 NEC football schedule concluded with a showdown in North Andover as the Merrimack College Warriors hosted the Saint Francis U Athletics Red Flash in a winner-take-all matchup for the NEC Championship. The Red Flash air attack proved to be too much for the Warriors to overcome as quarterback Cole Doyle threw for 5 touchdowns and over 400 yards. Our Northeast Conference Football Game of the Week took us to Long Island to see the CCSUBlueDevils take on the Liu Sharks. The Sharks were in control most of the game, but concluded with an action-packed final few minutes including a 2-point conversion attempt, an onside kick and a pick six! The Saint Francis University Red Flash football team won their sixth consecutive game Saturday afternoon with a dominant 44-14 win over reigning Northeast Conference champion Sacred Heart University Athletics. Wide receiver Elijah Sarratt hauled in three touchdown passes from quarterback Cole Doyle, who finished the day with 264 yards through the air and 5 TDs. The win sets the stage for a November 19 meeting with Merrimack College as they square off to determine the 2022 NEC Championship. Check out the highlights from yesterday's action!

MUST WATCH: It was mayhem at Merrimack tonight as the Warriors tied the game with just 32 seconds to go and then won in overtime, 2-1, over UMass.

It was Friday Night Lights in Staten Island when the Wagner College Football Seahawks hosted the Liu Sharks. Our Northeast Conference ESPN3 football package continued on Saturday with the first ever meeting between the Duquesne University Dukes and Stonehill College Skyhawks. The Skyhawks earned their first NEC conference win in as many tries, knocking off the Dukes 24-20. Running back Jermaine Corbett racked up 130 yards on the ground and hauled in a 50-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ashur Carraha.
