Rejoice! Wooded Memory has returned with their first release since 2020’s “My Secret Horror”. With “Escape to Phantasy”, the Maryland based project expands on their repertoire of melancholic synth passages and crystalline atmosphere with electric guitar, drums, and bass. Despite the additional instrumentation, the production maintains a sense of pensive stoicism–a deliberate pacing that slowly unfolds to reveal moments of shimmering hope and bombastic triumph.
