We crunched the numbers on work travel to the Spanish GP, and here's what's changed since the 2025 race period:
→ 40% of arrivals are domestic — up 4pp year on year
→ Median hotel stay: 3 nights
→ Median hotel daily rate is €199. With the most expensive hotel room booked in the city being €605 euros, and the least expensive €115.
→ Spanish travellers are saving nearly half by taking the train: €94 vs €171
→ The most represented industries are Technology, Professional Services, Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Retail.
The bigger story? Professionals are strategically using these sporting events for corporate entertainment and networking.
