That became the unofficial review from one O.A.T. traveler flying between camps in Botswana.

The planes fly low enough for travelers to spot elephants moving below and see the landscape completely open up after the rainy season.

For a lot of the group, the flight ended up being one of the most unexpectedly fun parts of the entire trip.

One minute, O.A.T. travelers in Botswana were flying low over the tree line spotting elephants from a tiny bush plane.

A few hours later, they were back at camp swapping stories over dinner while Chef Boca walked everyone through the menu for the night.

That rhythm became part of the experience: long safari days, incredible wildlife sightings, then ending the night together around meals nobody expected to be this good in the middle of Botswana.
