Helen Murray, RN, North 4, has earned the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.

Helen's nomination describes a nurse who arrived with confidence and warmth, followed through on every commitment she made during her shift and met a patient in a moment of vulnerability with exactly the right response.

Her nominator wrote: "Every nurse has the technical skills needed to save your life… but not every nurse has the heart, intuition and emotional presence that Helen showed me. It is a rare gift."
