Mission: Empowering Young People to Lead Safe & Socially Responsible Lives.

EBAYC nurtures Oakland’s diverse AAPI and communities of color through life coaching, mentoring, and after-school partnerships that support their success at school and beyond. EBAYC’s focus on providing life coaching, and wraparound community services builds youth leadership, while family support programs strengthen the community of support around youth. Young people learn resilience, leadership, and advocacy while helping to improve conditions in their neighborhoods—creating a cycle of empowerment that uplifts families and communities across East Bay.

✨Thrive Together Collaborative Partner Spotlight: Communities Against Anti-Asian Violence (CAAAV)!✨

Mission: CAAAV’s purpose is to develop the leadership of working class Asian youth and immigrants for affordable living in NYC by building neighborhood power in Chinatown and Astoria.

CAAAV’s youth workshops provide participants with mentorship, skills trainings, and direct, real-world opportunities to apply what they’ve learned in community building projects. CAAAV’s work spotlights the community’s efforts to combat displacement, relocation, and housing issues that heavily impact working class AAPIs, and through these avenues, youth are able to participate in community meetings, city council hearings, and prop up CAAAV’s Tenants Union Youth Leadership. Their work to build community in Chinatown and Astoria enables working class Asian immigrant families to continue living in the neighborhoods they call home!
