Majira Project

Today we celebrate Juneteenth - the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans were finally told they were free. Now it is a national holiday that represents freedom, resilience, and unity.

Today we also celebrate our fourth anniversary of Majira’s incorporation as an official nonprofit organization. This is in recognition that despite all of the progress that has been made, there is still work to be done in the ongoing fight for equality.

We will continue to work to close the racial wealth gap by cultivating founders, companies, and communities of color through our mission of community development through entrepreneurship. Keep an eye out as we prepare to open the application for our 9th cohort of our flagship accelerator program in partnership with BCG Spark!

These 41 amazing companies led by Black, Latinx, & Indigenous entrepreneurs have been diving in with their pro bono BCGSpark team, a business coach, and a network of connections focused on tackling the specific business challenges to get them to the next level.
