Big day for Mozzie at Tandem Vet!
On the days I’m not out adventuring I’m usually editing, emailing and taking care of myself and my cat Miss Mozzarella.

She’s been needing some dental care, something her vet doesn’t offer but recommended, so I used the Google Maps machine and found Tandem Vet in Somerville (it’s about 15 minutes from Boston *with a parking lot*). They have really good reviews and after meeting the team and seeing the place, I can see why!

I feel like my to-do list is never ending so even though this day was bananas busy it felt like a little break from the actual go-go-go!

I bet you’ve never heard of this Revolutionary War battle in Gloucester, Massachusetts! The British Navy thought they were getting an easy payday… instead, they got absolutely humbled by a bunch of fishermen.

The Battle of Gloucester Reenactment took place this weekend with locals recreating the moments that this small-town in Massachusetts fought back against the world’s most powerful empire.

This story is just one of the many pieces of history being highlighted right now for Massachusetts 250, our state’s official celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and birth of the nation! 🇺🇸✨

🎆 America250 Sturbridge Festival (June 27): a morning parade, militia reenactors, the 215th Army Band, food trucks, and a pie-eating contest.

📜 Plymouth Community Ceremony (June 27): in Plymouth Town Square find a special anniversary flag raising, color guard salute, and a live reading of the Declaration of Independence.

🎭 Voices of a Revolution (July 1–26): An immersive month-long experience where you step into a rural MA village, build your own 1776 character, and choose whether to fight for independence or stay loyal to the Crown!

⚓️ Boston Harborfest (July 2–4): Boston’s Official 4th of July Celebration! Head to the city’s iconic historic landmarks for hundreds of activities, including historical reenactments, live music and harbor fireworks.

🎸 Freedom Rocks! Williamstown Celebration (July 3–4): A 4th of July block party featuring a hometown parade, a free community cookout, live blues and rock concerts, and fireworks.

🥁 Independence Celebration (July 4): Head to Old Sturbridge Village for historic fife and drum music, cannon demos, and a deeply moving live Citizen Naturalization Ceremony on the Common.

🎻 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular (July 4): The ultimate MA250 Event at the Hatch Shell! A free concert led by Keith Lockhart featuring superstar guests Lainey Wilson, Chance The Rapper, and Trombone Shorty, then fireworks over the Charles River.
