Wedding season is one of my favorite times of year. It's also one of the most common times I see patients coming in with red, irritated, exhausted eyes wondering what happened.

Long days, outdoor ceremonies, air conditioned receptions, happy tears, and a few toasts add up fast. Here's what I tell every patient heading into a big event weekend.

Switch to daily disposable contacts for wedding days if you can. Pack preservative free drops in your bag and actually use them throughout the day. Match every drink with a glass of water because alcohol genuinely reduces tear production. And no matter how late you get home, take your makeup off.

Your eyes are in every photo from that day. Let's make sure they look and feel as beautiful as the occasion deserves.

Come see us before the big day. 💙

✈️👁️ Travel checklist…but for your eyes!

Flights, long drives, beach sun, and nonstop scrolling can leave your eyes dry, tired, and irritated.

Don’t travel without these eye-care essentials:

👓 Backup glasses - contact lens problems always happen at the worst time
💧 Preservative-free drops - for flights and screen-heavy days
😎 UV-protective sunglasses - your eyes need sun protection too
🔥 Warm compress - helpful for dry eye relief
📵 Screen breaks - your eyes need rest too

Small habits make travel much more comfortable ✨

Save this for your next trip ✔️
Which one do you always forget to pack?
