The food tour I recommend to everyone visiting Boston (and to those who already live here) is Off the Eaten Path, by Paula. @off_the_eaten_path_tours

Here’s why I love it so much AND why I would go on it again:

1 - The Food: Paula takes you to all of her favorite spots in Boston’s Italian neighborhood, the North End. This particular tour was over the weekend which is a totally different tour than the one during the week!
2 - The History: she not only spent much of her life here but she continues to uncover stories from the different eras which makes the tour ever evolving. I learn something new every time I take it.
3 - The Architecture: Paula is an architecture lover and if you’re into that she’s happy to share her knowledge.
4 - The Lore: she has stories you would love to hear.
5 - It’s just her: there’s nothing I love more than a hard-working, educated, curious and wonderful human being and that is Paula. She doesn’t hire anyone else because no one else would give a tour as well as she does. So don’t let the lack of social media posts fool you, she doesn’t have time for that! She’s giving tours and learning more about the North End history!
