Congratulations to our 2026 graduates 🎓

Representing our Rhode Island region, Senior Program Supervisor, Alyssa Lopes and Assistant Program Supervisor, Jenna Dubose both earned their Master of Social Work degrees from Boston University this spring.

We’re also excited to celebrate four Rhode Island staff members who have begun their graduate school journeys! Two have been accepted to Simmons University in Boston, one to Arizona State University, and one to Salem State University.

To mark this exciting milestone, Assistant Director, Jessica Knight hosted a “Pass the Torch” Luncheon, where our newest graduates shared their experiences, insights, and words of wisdom with our incoming grad students.

At The Key Program, we are proud to invest in the professional growth of our staff and celebrate their commitment to furthering their human service careers. Congratulations to all on these incredible achievements. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next 👏🏼👏🏾👏🏿

It was an honor and privilege to witness our direct care workers from our Northeast Region represent Key at the Merrimack Valley Caring Force Rally in Haverhill on Friday.

Pictured from left: Outreach Caseworker, KyRon Parker, and Residential Caseworker, Desmond Heffner, spoke from the heart about their lived experiences, highlighting the essential services direct care workers provide to our communities every day. They also addressed key legislative priorities impacting human service professionals, including student loan repayment and livable wages.

While Key is proud of its ongoing partnership with the Providers’ Council and regularly participates in Caring Force rallies throughout the year, this event offered a special opportunity to hear directly from members of our own team. It was inspiring to listen to these young men share their passions, advocate for their profession, and shine as leaders in our field.

Thank you, KyRon and Desmond, for your advocacy, dedication, and courage in speaking up for the rights of human service workers. We are grateful for all that you do.

YOU are the future of this work! ✨
