Five years ago, in the middle of the pandemic, we took a leap. A leap that has taken us on an amazing journey, through multiple time zones. You gave me the purpose I longed for and an unconditional love wrapped in a beautiful family. Blessings be ours my love. Happy anniversary!

Going back to Amerie’s 2005 hit song, “1 thing” that I mixed at Soundtrack Studio in New York. The song received acclaim from critics, and peaked at number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number four in the United Kingdom. It was also named the 22nd and 25th best song of the 2000s decade by Rolling Stone and Robert Christgau. What a great song!

I have great memories from mixing four tracks, including the hit, “Fighter” on one of Christina Aguilera’s strongest charting albums, “Stripped” at the historic, Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Undeniable talent always leaves a lasting impression.
