Follow Food Celebration 🎉
INGREDIENTS ⬇️
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust based on spice preference)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
DIRECTIONS ⬇️
Prepare the shrimp:
In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and buttermilk.
Dip each shrimp into the flour mixture, then into the egg and buttermilk mixture, and back into the flour mixture to coat thoroughly.
Fry the shrimp:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375°F (190°C).
Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the hot honey sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over low heat until the mixture is well combined and slightly thinned.
Serve:
Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the fried shrimp or serve it on the side for dipping.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or green onions if desired. 🌱 🌿

Coconut milk is often confused with coconut water, but they are two completely different products

. Coconut water is found inside the coconut and collects there completely naturally when the fruit ripens.
