Our very specialized team of volunteer doctors performed wellness checks and emergency surgery for ‘s annual Teddy Bear Checkup! Volunteers took vitals, administered vaccinations, wrote prescriptions and repaired any plushies in need of TLC. Our small friends and their stuffed animals walked away with certificates of good health and lots of smiles!! Blades from even stopped by for a visit! Thank you to for having us! 🧸❤️

What a joy it was to join African Repertory Connection African Repertory Troupe and to support their free community giveaway today at the Nubian Square branch of 🎉Volunteers helped with food distribution and organizing donated household goods and clothing so they could find new homes! Thank you to all of the organizers for a day of community love and mutual aid! ❤️👚👟📚🥬

Our amazing members will show up anywhere for our community—even on zoom! 💻 This week, volunteers helped host virtual mock interviews for their adult ESOL students to prepare them to enter the workforce in Boston. BCNC hosts a wide variety of classes, programs and events for immigrant families and individuals of all age. Last year they served over 13,000 people and currently have ~400 adults enrolled in ESOL classes in their Boston and Quincy locations for anyone looking to increase their English proficiency!

On this International Workers Day (and every day!) G4G Boston unequivocally affirms: immigrants are vital and valuable members of our community and are are always welcome at our projects! 💪🏼💪🏾💪🏿🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

our wonderful volunteers once again returned to this month to help sort, invoice, package and mail out books to those currently incarcerated across the country ♥️📚✨ for many incarcerated people this is often their only free access to books!
