As temperatures continue to rise across Massachusetts, MassCOSH is urging employers, policymakers, and communities to take heat safety seriously and protect workers from preventable illness, injury, and death.
💧 Drink water every 15–20 minutes
🧊 Take breaks in shaded or cool areas
👕 Wear lightweight, breathable clothing
👀 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke
📚 Get trained in heat illness prevention
Heat kills — prevention saves lives. Workers deserve stronger protections, safer workplaces, and enforceable heat standards.
