Welcome to the lab Masin Kearney!
Masin graduated from Emory in 2025 and is a now a technician who is working with both the research lab and the NeuroHub facility to develop stem cell derived neural cell cultures from humans across various ancestral backgrounds.

Congratulations to Dr. Zachary Augur! He successfully defended his PhD this month. Over the years he has made many important contributions to our understanding of protein degradation pathways in human brain cells, which has culminated in three first author publications. We will miss him terribly but are excited to see all that he accomplishes in the future as he joins Bain and Company as a Consultant.

Welcome to the lab Anna Cramer and Anna Curle! Team Annas are working on an exciting project using human induced pluripotent stem cells from diverse genetic backgrounds to investigate heterogeneity of disease and response to therapies in Alzheimer’s disease. Anna Curle is a postdoctoral fellow coming to us from the University of Cambridge, and is leading this effort. Anna Cramer is a research technician coming to us from the University of Washington who joined us in the summer.
