On Wednesday, June 24, we will walk to raise awareness and support for individuals and families affected by Chromosome 8p, a rare genetic condition impacting approximately 550 children worldwide.

We are walking in honor of our own little hero, Olivia. Her strength, resilience, and spirit inspire us every single day. By stepping up for Olivia and for families across the globe navigating 8p, we are standing beside them and reminding them they are not alone.

This event means so much to our team, and it is a reminder that awareness is needed for Chromosome 8p research.

We are honored to share that UpperEdge and our 8,000 Steps for 8P Walk were featured in WCVB Channel 5’s 5 for Good segment this week!

What started as an effort to support our colleague, Ashley Demonte, and her daughter Olivia has grown into a powerful movement to raise awareness and funding for The Project 8p Foundation and research surrounding this rare genetic disorder.

A special thank you to WCVB for helping shine a light on Olivia’s story and the importance of advancing research and support for families affected by chromosome 8P deletion. We look forward to making this year’s walk even bigger and continuing to support this incredible cause.

After 3 years of dedicated service, we are celebrating Maura as she retires from UpperEdge and begins an exciting new chapter.

Throughout her time at UpperEdge, Maura played an important role in strengthening client relationships and advancing our Subscription Advisory Services. Her ability to build trusted partnerships and help clients realize the full value of our services made a lasting impact on both our clients and our team.

Beyond her professional contributions, Maura was a thoughtful teammate and a caring person who always supported those around her.
