Y’all did this— For The Love Of The Grind is a New York Times bestseller! 😭

True to my story, I had a lot of self doubt on this project— if my writing good enough to write it myself, if I had accomplished enough to have a memoir. I didn’t have a bombshell to reveal, I didn’t escape from a cult to be raised by wolves…

But many of you reached out over the years and encouraged me it was worth writing. My main editors and strengthened my belief with their ever-positive feedback on the pages I’d send. And I landed with the perfect partner in to bring it to life.

THANK YOU to everyone who believed in this book enough to preorder, review, and spread the word! When I hear you read it in a day because you couldn’t put it down or something you got out of it personally, it makes all the hard work worth it. If there’s anything you take from this story, I hope you feel inspired to do the thing that’s in your heart as authentically as you can. Go all-in on that goal. Adopt the kid(s). Write the book. A week I’ll never forget 🥹

For The Love of the Grind hit your doorsteps and ears Tuesday while I hit the road and I can’t stop smiling at the things you’ve shared about it in person and online. I honestly feel like I gained more through this tour than I brought—after a subpar race, being reminded of the ways we can all still impact each other through our running was just what I needed.

For the Love of the Grind hit the shelves and your doorsteps and ears yesterday—the end of my 6th marathon really, and definitely the most challenging one. It’s been so fun to meet some of you in Boston and Portsmouth, up next: DC!
