❄️⛄️ Winter Break Recap ✨

Our Fellows had an incredible and productive break! Some highlights:
• connected with industry leaders at Boston Fintech Week at the Federal Reserve. 💼
• and earned 1st place in the group challenge in the MIT Energy & Climate Hackathon for their cutting-edge work in battery tech! 🔋
• , , .khan, and .farman also learned more about blockchain at the TRON X Hackathon at Columbia University. 🌐
• visited the National Bank of Egypt’s New York branch, meeting Mr. Khaled Elghorab, Head of the branch. 🏦
• And, of course, they shared a heartwarming Thanksgiving with their host families, filled with laughter and gratitude. 🍽️

These moments have fueled growth, learning, and connections across industries. 💡

✨ This past week, our own Director, Dr. Yoo Jin Chung, led an engaging and thought-provoking seminar on building and sustaining positive organizational cultures. Fellows were able to exchange ideas on how to promote psychological safety within the cohort and cultivate stronger, more inclusive teams.

This week, the Fellows completed their final rehearsal for the MO460 Global Leadership Panel! 🎉 On Thursday, they shared insights with the MO460 undergraduates, presenting on essential strategies for navigating the global business landscape. 🌍 We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication!

🌟 Meet Manizha Tojidinova from Tajikistan! 🌟

As the Lead Economist at OJSC Orienbank in the International Trade Finance Division, she’s on a mission during the Humphrey Fellowship Program to:
1️⃣ Deepen her expertise in investment to foster sustainable economic growth in Tajikistan.
2️⃣ Learn from the robust U.S. banking system to enhance Tajikistan’s banking sector and build strategic partnerships.
3️⃣ Explore fintech innovations to streamline international trade finance operations.

Her favorite moments in Boston? An incredible adventure filled with historic tours, sunny days at Cape Cod’s beautiful beaches, and shared laughter with her host family and fellow Humphrey Fellows! 🌍❤️

As a Trade Finance supervisor at the National Bank of Egypt, he’s on an exciting journey through the Humphrey Fellowship Program. 🌍

His goals?

🎯 Explore various fintech applications and their real-world impacts.
🎯 Build a strong network to exchange knowledge and embrace diverse cultures.
