🚨🚨 Biden Announces new executive action with a path to citizenship for about 500,000 undocumented spouses of US Citizens. Here are all details from USCIS.

This aid nonetheless, helps a tiny fraction of Dreamers, however it does not change the fact that the majority of dreamers will continue living in political uncertainty. Biden needs to do more and include more beneficiaries, rather than promoting these minor voter baiting policies that fall short on their initial intentions.

Update:

The Biden administration has made “DACA” a federal regulation to try to preserve the now 10 year old program. Unfortunately Republicans can still attack the program with relentless lawsuits.

DACA has already gone through the Supreme Court and it could be headed there again thanks to the current lawsuit out of Texas and other republican states. (reason why no new applications are being taken)

This was a good effort to protect the program but the reality is that it still leaves Dreamers in Limbo with no certainty for their future. Only congress can fully make DACA a law; something they haven’t been able to do because of the same Republican opposition.
