About the Boston Community Stakeholders
In April 2023 a group of concerned citizens determined to define, and execute solutions to the ongoing violence on the streets of Boston formed a Community Stakeholders organization with the mission to be directly involved in uplifting their neighborhoods.
The inaugural community meeting held in April 2023, defined the scope of the community needs as well as provided an opportunity to meet with local and state officials from the Boston Police department, District Attorney’s office and Political appointees from the various Boston districts. We collectively defined the areas of focus and are in the midst of executing various strategic initiative including:
Housing Security
Financial welfare
Education
Criminal justice
Mental Health
This team will advocate for members of its community and voice their needs to ensure that they are heard and have a direct impact regarding their own fate. This volunteer organization is formulating strategies to address the societal ills that disproportionately affect the Black and Brown communities.
