From our MCC Boston Spiritual Community gathering December 21st.

"The Spirit led to the formation of this church when it was so deeply needed. The Spirit called q***r people of faith in this city to create a sanctuary, a place where God’s love for all could be felt and known and proclaimed, where the gospel would be made new for a hurting world, a place where people like us would find ourselves right in the center of God’s grace, a place where we could be made new. The Spirit sustained this church through decades of change. And the Spirit is with us now as we preside over its closing, because the Holy Spirit knows nothing so well as transformation, the in breaking of new worlds where old and familiar ones have been, the wonderful and fearful path of following where God is leading, the breathing of life into blessings not yet discovered."
