Meet Jane Marsching at the art exhibition, Learning With Trees: Artists and Ecologies of Connection, located at HallSpace in Dorchester! Jane Marsching is an interdisciplinary artist and Professor at MassArt whose work explores the history, ecology, and community of a place. She connects people to trees and their diverse ecosystems through projects like the Urban Tree Oracle and her Resilient Pigment Library.

We have some exciting news! Tree Boston is one of 150 local nonprofits selected to receive funding through the Cummings Foundation's $35 Million Grant Program.

At Tree Boston, our mission is to grow and protect Boston's urban forest, with a focus on the neighborhoods that have the least tree canopy and need it most. This multi-year grant helps us continue planting trees, hosting free tree giveaways, caring for the trees already in the ground, and running the education and youth programs that keep our urban forest growing for generations to come.

Trees do so much for our city. They cool our streets, clean our air, take up stormwater, and make our neighborhoods healthier and more livable. Support like this brings us closer to a greener and healthier Boston for everyone.
