I am thrilled to be stepping in as Chair of Women In Music Boston, and can’t wait to help elevate our Music and Entertainment community and offer great opportunities for connection!

This fall, we're delighted to announce new changes in leadership for the Boston chapter of Women in Music.

After years of steadfast service and guidance, Kristina Latino is stepping down as Chapter Chair of WIM Boston. Ingrid Gerdes takes her place as the head of the Boston chapter.

With over 20 years in the entertainment sector Ingrid Gerdes, is thrilled to share her experience and knowledge as Chapter Chair for Women in Music Boston.

As an internationally touring vocalist and recording artist, Ingrid has produced and recorded several full-length studio albums and dozens of collaborations with other artists. Her work has achieved acclaim and garnered multiple awards as well as being featured nationally on NPR’s All Things Considered, HBO, Showtime, MTV, Medium, Fame, Metronome and more.

As an award-winning songwriter and lyricist, Ingrid has also penned and performed on title tracks for major gaming companies and franchises such as Final Fantasy, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Microsoft Studios for Xbox, Numskull Games for Nintendo and others.

Ingrid owns and operates a full-service Voice Over production company where she has worked on major campaigns for Johnson and Johnson, Soothing Pod, Novant Health, Keurig, WebEx, Herbalife, Publix and more.

She holds an MBA with a specialization in Music Business and a BA in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music. In addition to her work as a musician, Ingrid also teaches fitness and is a Certified Nutritionist.

Ingrid has a deep passion for creating community, fostering authentic engagement, and building value expectation back into music and the arts. She looks forward to share these passions and elevate our WIM Boston Community through her role as Chapter Chair.

It’s been just about 2 years- thanks Covid 👎🏻- so this will be extra celebratory. I can’t say enough about these musicians or this venue …which by the way has fab food and killer cocktails.

I really hope y’all make it out, listen to some classic Blues + some of my Originals, and toast to having live music and in-person experiences again 🙌🏻
