New Years crafting turned this carved pot into a 3-wick candle. .schnee drew the scene and a sweet portrait of me on the Island of Craft.

I made a lot of plates. Send prayers to the kiln that these all come out without a wobble! I’m glazing today in my fave white and blue geometry.

These full dinner plates are slab built and wheel altered on a plaster mold I designed. I’ve made one a day, after work, by lamplight on the back porch.

Bets on whether the big one comes out the same size as the small one after firing??

Clay shrinks about 13% by the time it’s a “final” “product” !!

I made a lot of DISHES this summer for marriages. I made a NEW STUDIO in these trees and telephone wires. I’m into slab work and glazing right now, tho I do want to throw one more day before it gets too cold.

This set serves 8 ppl. Imagine the dinners. Imagine all the times it’ll be used and washed and held. This set is going to chefs and healers, adding their own beauty. I’m happy.
