Churrasco Recipe πŸ₯©

* 2lbs skirt steak
* 3-4tbsp Achiote Oil (recipe pinned) or 3-4tbsp oil with packet sazon
* 3tbsp sour orange
* 4tbsp white vinegar
* 6 garlic cloves, 1 aji dulce, 1/4 onion, cilantro (fresh sofrito)
* 2tsp garlic powder
* 1tsp black pepper
* 2tsp Dominican oregano
* 2 1/2tsp adobo
* One whole onion sliced

Puerto Rican Inspired Pasta Recipe

* 1lb pasta
* Fresh Sofrito 2 culantro, 6 garlic cloves, 3 Aji dulce, half green bell pepper, and half small onion
* 2tbsp Achiote oil (recipe pinned) or 2 tbsp oil for Sofrito
* 1lbs 93% ground beef (less greasy)
* 1tsp adobo for ground beef
* 1 can tomato sauce
* 2tbsp tomato paste
* 2tbsp ketchup
* 2c water
* Homemade sazon or regular packet sazon (1tsp annato powder, 1/2tsp paprika, & 1/4 turmeric)
* 1tsp oregano powder
* 1/2tsp black pepper
* 2tsp garlic powder
* 1/2tsp adobo for sauce
* Salt to taste towards the end
* Queso de papa or mild cheddar cheese (optional) to your liking

1. Follow the recipe as you see in the video.
2. Once you create your sauce, bring to boil, then bring to low/simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens up.
3. Add your cooked pasta, mix well, leave stove on low. Cover let the pasta cook in the sauce for additional 5-10 minutes on low/simmer heat
4. Add cheese to your preference, totally optional

Traditional Puerto Rican Beans Recipe πŸ‡΅πŸ‡·

* 1c pinto beans
* Quality smoked ham
* Tocino (salted pork fat)
* 2 small farm tomatoes
* Fresh sofrito, 2 culantro, 6-8 garlic, 4 aji dulce, half small onion
* 10c water
* 1tsp annato powder or packet sazon
* 2 capsule apple cider vinegar
* 1 bay leaves
* 1tsp oregano
* Salt to taste the end

Beans are ready when it’s soft/firm took almost 3 1/2hrs. Low and slow is the best beans! That’s how Puerto Rico makes there beans without pressure cooking. Low and slow πŸ«ΆπŸΌπŸ‡΅πŸ‡·

* 1-3tbsp achiote oil (recipe pinned) or packet sazon with drizzle oil
* 2tsp garlic powder
* 1tsp onion powder
