Greetings from the summit of Haleakala in Maui! Wanted to share this spectacular view high above the clouds just before sunset. The volcano last erupted some time between 1480 and 1600. Fun fact-when measured from its base under the sea to its crater at the summit it’s taller than Mt. Everest. Enjoy!! 🤙🌋🌋🤙
Molly Bish was just 16 years old when she disappeared from her lifeguard post in Warren, MA, on June 27, 2000. Her remains were discovered years later in the woods of Palmer but her killer has never been found.
This is a case that has haunted me throughout my career.
It was a privilege to work with the CBS 48 Hours team, the incomparable Erin Moriarty and the Bish family for Saturday night’s story.

Early detection is key. It saved my life and it just may save yours. AND a special ask-if you know someone going through treatment or with a recent diagnosis please check in with them. We all say, “I’m fine,” or “I’m doing okay” when that may not always be the case. 💕💕
