Wow. It’s finally happening!
When we left the salon on a Saturday evening in March we had no idea what we were really in store for. We knew things were getting serious but never expected to be closed down for over 2 months. The Loft is so thankful for your support and kindness during these times and truly cannot wait to see you back in our chairs. Things will look and feel slightly different as we navigate these new waters. Michael and the team have been working tirelessly to make the salon the safest environment for our guests and staff. Please read through some of what you can expect at The Loft during your next (and highly anticipated) hair appointment!

Hello Clients,
I hope this post finds you and your families healthy and safe. To say we miss you all is an understatement! We truly cannot wait to be able to see you again at The Loft Salon.
As of now, the plan is to reopen on May 4th. Our managers from both the Newbury Street location and our Norwell location have been busy individually reaching out to those clients who have had appointments scheduled during the time when we have been closed. Please don’t worry if you haven’t heard from them yet, there are lots of appointments having to be rescheduled, but we promise we won’t forget about anyone. We thank you very much for your patience and understanding during this time.
When we do reopen, some things will be a bit different than we are all used to. Michael and the team have been thinking of what we can do to make your experience at the salon as safe and comfortable as possible. We have decided that when we are back in action, we will be working off of a 7 day schedule rather than 5, and are extending our hours from 9 AM to 9 PM. This is in an effort to have fewer stylists working at a time, and therefore having more space for our clients. Your stylist will very likely have a different schedule than what you are previously used to, but we promise to find days and times that work for everyone.
We will continue to keep the salon safe and sanitary for our staff and of course of valued clients, while taking new an extra precaution as we move forward.
I can’t say enough how much the whole team really misses our clients, and we all miss each other! The Loft and everyone who comes there is very near and dear to all of our hearts. It has been really hard not being able to be in the place so many of us consider to be an extension of our homes. However, we remain hopeful! We know that when we do get to open our doors again, it will be the best feeling!

After very careful consideration, The Loft Salon by Michael Albor has decided to temporarily close. For the safety and well being of our team as well as our clients we feel this is the best decision during these uncertain times.
We will be closed starting March 18 and plan to return on April 1st. In the meantime please feel free to reach out and leave a message at the salon as we will continue to return phone calls daily while our management team works remotely. Appointments scheduled for the next 2 weeks will be rescheduled over the next couple of days.
We will be using this time to rejuvenate and get inspired to bring you our best possible selves. Let’s come out on the other side with more wisdom, love, understanding and renewed minds!
