MBTA Mobility Center

Exhibiting at events, assisting with reduced fare applications, and the group trainings we mention here showcase only a small portion of what we do. Individual travel training, trip planning, and tech training also keep us busy.

This morning a couple team members had an information table at the Somerville Food Pantry and made ourselves available to assist with Income Eligible and Senior CharlieCards.

Unintended header edit...shows a 39 bus leaving Back Bay Station with just the word Encouraged visible on the header due to the way the photo was framed.

Some photos from Friday include a Green Line trolley departing Gilman Square Station toward Medford/Tufts, one of multiple entrances to State Station Orange Line, and South Station and the tower above from Federal St.

All of the Green Line Extension Station have center platforms..

The Winthrop Building, built in 1894 pre-dates State Station.above this entrance. The 9-story building, has this back corner on Devonshire at Water Street. Boston's first steel-frame office building paved the way for future skyscrapers.

Today a couple of our team members shared information and assisted with reduced fare applications at the Boston Living Center. One of the shower curtain maps covers the tops of two tables. Lanyards, hand sanitizers, brochures, and Access in Motion booklets rest on top of the map. Plants, a small table and chairs and windows provide the backdrop.

Team members also had an information table at the LABBB Resource Fair yesterday evening. These events provide an opportunity to share information with students, family members, and staff. They also our staff to connect or re-connect with staff from other providers.
