At Showcase last week, Executive Director Wyona Lynch-McWhite closed the evening by telling the nearly 250 attendees:

“Last year, I asked you all to remember that JOY IS A FORM OF RESISTANCE. That remains even more true today where the challenges are very real. So, your charge tonight is to remember that there is ABUNDANCE even in times of resistance.

With an abundant mindset we understand that when each of does our part – that’s where the collective power comes from. There are many things that are in short supply these days but empathy and kindness should never be on that list. Let’s do good work, and get into some good trouble… with abundance.”

The Showcase theme, “Speak Up and Speak Out for Nonprofits,” continues to be a call to action to support nonprofits, like our incredible Innovators.

It’s official—Showcase 2026 was a huge success! More than 200 prospective investors, donors & skilled volunteers gathered last night at Artists For Humanity to hear our seven Lead Innovators share their innovative, impactful solutions for improving communities across Eastern Massachusetts.

It was a wonderful evening of connection and community.
