Most leaders were in denial about AI until very recently. They watched the hype. Kept their distance. Told themselves it would settle. It didn't. And now the questions in the room are no longer theoretical. They are urgent and personal. "How do I stay relevant?" "How do I know what to trust?" "How do I help my organization?"
While AI rapidly transforms organizations, many leaders still misunderstand servant leadership, either as passive conflict avoidance or glorified administration. True servant leadership is courageous: it combines deep listening, accountability, and vulnerability with the willingness to make hard calls that protect human dignity and growth. In an era of uncertainty and AI-driven change, servant leaders build trust, resist substituting technology for human judgment, and keep workplaces human.
