When I took this product shot for her exactly a year ago, I had no idea how amazing her small eco friendly business will do. I admire her because 1. she proved that you don’t have to be in your 20’s to become an entrepreneur 2. she listens and cares and therefore she’s adjusting her consumer habits to lower her impact 3. she cares so much that she’s helping others to reduce their waste through making and pouches.

got a question the other day saying something like:

“how can you promote saving our planet when you’re dressed so pretty...” 🤔

I’m glad they asked.. since that’s kind of the point.. You really don’t have to become a hippie or go live in the woods to make greener lifestyle choices in the current western consumer society. I have higher aspirations and I hope one day an idea on how to make a larger positive change (not only in the western world) will pop into my mind but until then I’ll keep trying to appeal to people like me. Reach people with similar backgrounds that I understand, to the people who are capable of change just like I was. To a young girl from Komárno who might be watching and has been influenced by loooots of marketing campaigns online as well as on tv to consume unconsciously without realizing the consequences... I want her to know that secondhand clothing can be as sexy and stylish as a brand new piece. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Got taken away .. basically wanted to say that I love rocking this oversized blouse from Bohème Goods while supporting a mom of 2, instead of putting my money towards fast fashion clothing that sends tons of textile waste into our landfills.
