Spring By The Harbor

These houses overlook the local harbor and have a fabulous front-row seat to all the comings and goings. The forsythia glows in the spring; especially in front of this antique cape with the unusual gingerbread trim. Just a great day to paint. Any day painting outside is a joy.

Anchored In Reality

I saw this scene at Sakonnet Harbor in Rhode Island and the "weight" of those anchors begged to become a painting. So I made one.
