Surprise surprise, the national headlines don’t seem to be quite accurate… at least not in our neck of the woods.
Year to date, for single family homes values:
📍 Arlington up 6.9%
📍 Wi******er up 10.9%
📍 Lexington up 10.8%
📍 Belmont up 14.9%
📍 Cambridge up 19.2%
Yes inventory is higher than 2024, but still wayyyyy lower than 2019 (last balanced market).
However, buyer demand is also lower than 2019, and rates still sit above 6%. What does this mean for home sellers?
