Architecture of 118 Beacon Street, Back Bay, Boston 118 Beacon Street was designed by architects Little and Browne and built in 1907 by Connery and Wentworth, builders, as the home of boiler and elevator manufacturer Henry Parsons King and his wife, Alice Ormond (Spaulding) King. They previously had lived at 205 Commonwealth Avenue.
