Countdown to Kindergarten

Boston Reads Day! TeeAra Dias & Kristin McSwain, Mayors office and BPS Department of Early Childhood working collaboratively for the children of Boston.
Thank you to the 500 volunteer readers who came out yesterday to support our literacy campaign. Together we will work to cultivate life long readers.

The Annual Citywide Kindergarten Celebration is happening tomorrow August 26th!!!!!

All new incoming 3, 4 and 5 year olds, entering Boston Pre-K (community based programs and BBoston Public Schools are invited to attend. Come and enjoy, the musuem exihibits, costume characters, explore a school bus, receive a Cradles to Crayons Massachusettsback pack with supplies, light snacks available, meet the Superintendent of BPS, speak with BPS departments and so much more. Every child is enouraged to wear their I'm going to Kindergarten yellow t-shirt.

When: August 26th from 4:30 to 7:30.
Location: BBoston Children's MuseumTime: 4:30-7:30
Who can you bring? The entire family!!
Cost: FREE

Free parking for families at the Stillings street garage ONLY!

Check out our website (www.countdowntokindergarten.org) for school bus pick up locations in a few neighborhoods throughout Boston. School bus transportation serves the first 50 people that arrive.

MBTA:
Red Line to South Station and walk over to the BBoston Children's MuseumSilverline Bus (SL4) goes from Nubian square to the last stop which is South Station then walk over to the museum.
