Today, August 12th, is the last day to register to vote before the primary election taking place on September 1st. Primary elections help determine a party’s candidate for the general election that occurs later on. In Massachusetts, one of the biggest races this year is between incumbent Senator Ed Markey and House Representative Joe Kennedy. Depending on your district, you may also have other state and local races on your ballot.
