A great end to an awesome 7 part module. Thanks to everyone that came out for capture the flag! We’ll be running out next series starting in April 2022. Stay tuned for more updates and course dates.

Saturday was a great day to work on honing listening and stalking skills with this amazing group! We want to give everyone a big thank you for making the trek out to join us for our course this weekend.

The first escape and evasion course starts in just a few hours! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on course today!! Make sure to bring water and dress appropriately or playing in the woods.

Understanding and reading terrain is a crucial skill to have when working on Land Navigation. Being able to locate yourself on a topographical map can mean the difference between winning and losing, or in some cases life or death.

Being able to coordinate with team members or others in a hunting party allows you to make plans cover ground and avoid dangerous places. What do you find is the most useful feature on a topic?

In martial arts a wise man once said “ Do not fear the man that has a thousand kicks, fear the man that has kicked a thousand times.” This statement is true in many facets of life. Knots are no different, knowing one good knot is more useful than knowing many fancy knots. To this statement, one of the most useful knots we have found has to be the bowline. It’s easily one of the most versatile knots out there when camping, hunting, climbing and more. A bowline is both very strong when done well as well as easy to untie.
