“A Thousand Suns at Midnight” is a beautiful tale of a life well lived, shared with us by Wiccan High Priest and Occultist Jimahl DiFiosa.

Through the author’s use of colorfully descriptive language written in his honest folksy philosophical style, this autobiographical memoir takes readers from his rough early childhood beginnings as part of a multigenerational strict fundamentalist Christian family in rural Pennsylvania through mastery of many personal challenges of adulthood as a gay man, accomplished medium and Witch.

We learn that young Jimahl was the oldest of four brothers who has always felt different callings than his blood kin. The story goes on to describe his awareness and communication with Otherworldly Spirits, his travel adventures in New York, Boston, Paris, Mexico, and more.

The author guides the reader through the highs and lows of his search for a truly destined soulmate and his evolution of becoming the multi-talented Wiccan Elder he is today.

Living in the once Medieval town of Tomar, Portugal, famed for its Templar history, he is now happily married to his husband Karagan Griffith, also in the Alexandrian Wiccan Priesthood.

Having known Jimahl for many years, and having read all his previously published books, I was not surprised that this one would become one of my favorites. The reader gets a reflective glimpse into the author’s journey of “self transformation” as an initiate in the mysteries of Witchcraft and as a Magick maker, with many fascinating details.

What a great book!

Reviews from our readers are coming in. Send yours to us and we will post it: thank you Beltran for your kind review of Jimahl’s book.

“In the stirring narrative of “A Thousand Suns at Midnight," readers are taken on a compelling journey through the life of a man who emerged from the simple beauty of rural Appalachia to become a seminal voice in Alexandrian witchcraft. The book traces Jimahl's evolution from a young boy deeply connected with nature and the spirits within it, to his poignant experiences as a gay man during the 80s AIDS crisis, and finally, to his embrace of witchcraft and Wicca in New England. This biography is as much a tale of personal transformation as it is a document of occult learning. Through tales of love, loss, discovery, and eventual self-acceptance, Jimahl's story is presented with an authenticity and warmth that invites readers into the very heart of his life. His experiences, detailed with both humor and gravity, highlight the journey towards finding one’s soulmate and the significance of living one's truth. "A Thousand Suns at Midnight" is not just a memoir; it's an intimate conversation with a man whose writings have illuminated the intricate practices of witchcraft, all the while showcasing the power of staying true to oneself.”
