Erika Mangan, class of 2022, recently presented at two conferences related to her work in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

In December she presented at the Tennessee Association of Assistive Technology Conference in Nashville, and in January she presented at the Assistive Technology Industry Association Conference in Orlando. She presented at both conferences on Using Shared Drives to Implement AAC, which she adapted from a project in the Implementation Science course she took while in the SLPD program.

Yesterday our SLPD students wrapped up the first half of the semester! First year students completed their course on JEDI in the Health Professions, while second year students finished their Implementation Science course. After a week break, they will continue with their semesters and their capstone project work.

And for our spring 2025 graduates, the countdown is on until completion of their degree requirements!
