Reflections. 📍Bowman Lake, Glacier National Park. This lake is a hidden gem located in the northwest corner of the park, about 30 miles south of the Canadian border. Getting there requires a drive through the tiny community of Polebridge, a town that’s totally off the grid without cell phone service or WiFi and powered exclusively by solar panels/generators. From May through October, the population is just under 100, but during the colder months it falls to the single digits.

Dune Shack Series (1):
Tucked into the back shore of Provincetown and Truro among nearly 2,000 acres of isolated beach are 19 historic dune shacks (also referred to as artist shacks) known as The Dune Shacks of the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District. These primitive shacks have no electricity or running water and are open for week-long residence opportunities for artists. Some of the most famous early residents who have benefitted from this opportunity are major figures in American art and literature, like Henry David Thoreau, e.e. Cummings, and Jack Kerouac, who, by his own account, wrote part On The Road here in 1950.

Prints available in both color and black and white. Link in bio.
