The National Center of Afro-American Artists is pleased to present its 51st season of Langston Hughes' Black Nativity, a gospel telling of the Christmas story. With your support we can fill the theater with people from our communities! The 2021 Black Nativity performance will be the first in person performance since COVID-19, our opening night starts Friday December 10th and runs until December 19th.

Black Nativity is the retelling of the Nativity story set to a jubilant score of gospel music, dance and narrative. Traditional Christmas carols are sung in gospel style, with a few songs created specifically for the show.

You will be swept away by the cast of more than fifty joy-filled children, men and women lifting their voices in glee.
