Mattapan Community Fridge

Hi, neighbors! Spread the word! Tomorrow, July 17, 2021, at 1290 Blue Hill Ave ( )we will be having a food drive with the Boston University Food Rescue team! Please drop off donations from 12 pm-12:30 pm. Also please, check out our suggested donations, and if you are a business or organization that would like to coordinate a donation feel free to contact us. Thank you all for everything, and please remember that any donation will help our community. Our Venmo and Cashapp is unityandsafety and we are also in need of more tables and volunteers. Fridge Monitor: Help maintain the fridge
Core Member: Complete task that include outreach, coordinating deliveries, fundraising, etc
Drivers: Pickup and drop-off food deliveries
Weekly Drop-offs: If you or an organization has the means to, we are looking to have folks or organizations pick one day out of the week to drop-off food. Our goal is to have daily food drop-offs so that everyday of the week someone or a different organization can drop-off food
Donate Cleaning supplies: Donate cleaning supplies to keep the fridge and pantry cleaned
Donate Funds: You can also always donate to our Cashapp and Venmo: unityandsafety

Thank you so much to , our neighbors with the Milton mutual aid groups, our lovely host , and to many that we're able to volunteer or donate. Today's food drive allowed us to feed many families and neighbors in the community. Continue to be on the lookout for our upcoming food drive dates. Sending love and appreciation to you all.

Calling all neighbors and friends ❤️ This Sunday and many of the amazing mutual aid groups in Milton would like to have a food drive at the Mattapan Community Fridge! Access to food has been difficult especially with COVID so share this with others. We are accepting drop-off donations from 11 am- 12 pm Sunday (at 1290 Blue Hill Ave) and feel free to volunteer!
