Staging Reimagined
05/12/2022
Split level homes are very standard. Walk up the stairs straight ahead a kitchen with a breakfast nook and living room to right. We wanted to modernize it to the ever changing needs of Buyers. By reimagining the space as something different to other split levels they have seen. Showcasing a more spacious kitchen and dinning area for future family gatherings. And more casual step down family room to sprawl out with toys or watch tv. We also rethought the primary bedroom placement. By moving it to the bigger basement space usually dedicated to a playroom. We achieved a whole floor primary suite with its own bathroom and study. While still having 3 bedrooms for kids and/or guest room with a full bath to share. Rethinking this houses layout and function real made it standout in the market. Making it sell for $100k over asking!
Most potential buyers need help visualizing the potential of a place. That’s when staging comes in to show them scale and function of a room. This newly remodeled home In Sudbury, had all the right elements. But needed help making the build in features really sing to buyers. By using oversize art you really can see how tall the ceilings are in this cozy sink in living room. By having the couch in the middle of the space to allow traffic behind and makes the buyers focus on that original rock fireplace. Adding the art above the mantle to hint at a tv space without having to hook up one for open houses.
