Silver Lining Mentoring
The most powerful thing you can give a young person is your time.
Jack and Gabe’s relationship proves that mentoring doesn't have to be complicated.
It looks like saving a seat in the car, sharing a laugh, and just being a friend.
Those everyday, ordinary moments add up to a lifetime of impact. Step up and be the difference - https://www.silverliningmentoring.org/become-a-mentor/

David Osher recently published a powerful piece in Youth Today that perfectly captures why consistent relationships matter so much.
He highlights that well-being is not just an individual trait, but a result of the relational and cultural conditions surrounding a young person.
At Silver Lining Mentoring, we know that youth in foster care need this reliable relational field to thrive, making this article a brilliant reminder that no young person thrives alone - we thrive when we matter.

Our partners at ACRC have officially opened the call for papers for their 71st annual conference.
Next year's theme is Centering Humanity as the Heart of Healing, which perfectly aligns with our belief in the power of authentic human connection.
Association Of Children's Residential Centers is specifically encouraging presenters with lived experience in the child welfare system to submit proposals.
If you have insights to share on youth mental wellbeing and the impact of consistent relationships, we highly recommend submitting a proposal before the September 4th deadline.
