I got my boy Vito from Raisa a little over 4 years ago to the day. Today, he passed unexpectedly for some unknown reason. The vet believes he had a heart attack. The shock of the call I received from my husband on my way to work, immediatelyturning around to come home. Vito was fine this morning nothing wrong up and about handing with my kids before school. As the shock wore off, I immediately thought of this page and the posts I have read. When posts from this page would come into my feed I always wondered and hoped I would be one of the lucky ones and that my guy was healthy, but now I wonder if it was the breeding. He showed no signs of being sick except gingivitis and a chronic allergy with black nose discharge that would clear and come back. We ran many tests that the vet was unable to find anything. She would always say, you don’t breed for teeth it’s for looks and he was a beautiful. We only had 4 year with Vito and now my family is heartbroken. I am choosing not to have an autopsy because it won’t bring him back but I will not be going back to Raisa. I will miss my boy but will always wonder about the breeder. 💔
