The digital advertising industry seems to be quickly recovering after a turbulent 2020. The latest estimate by eMarketer prooves the trend: in the US only the digital ad buyers will spend exciting 25.5% more on advertising. Who are the biggest spenders? There's a breakdown by the industry for you:
US Digital Ad Spending by Industry 2021 After an inconsistent year for digital ad spending in 2020, every industry in the US will increase their outlays in 2021. The retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and entertainment industries will provide the biggest boosts, driving up overall digital ad spending by 25.5%.

A fresh outlook by IAB predicts an 8% hike in U.S. digital advertising ad spend the next year. Together with the increase predictions, International Advertising Bureau warned about the factors that could affect the estimated industry growth:
🚩 lack of consumer ad tolerance
