Genetically modified organisms are easily one of the most widely misunderstood subjects in the nutrition world.
In reality, there are only 11 GMO crops grown commercially in the U.S. (contrary to the hundreds that social media claims exist).
This means the vast majority of "non-GMO" labels are on foods that never even had a GMO equivalent to begin with.
(Brands slap that logo on the package just to hike up the price, knowing you'll pay extra because you assume it's better for you.)
Furthermore, after more than 1,500 independent studies, we still have zero evidence that GMOs pose any health risk.
So if you choose to skip GMOs, that's entirely your call.
Just do it because you like the marketing, not because the science backs you up.

Is that energy drink actually going to kill you?
Spoiler alert: No.
If you're grabbing a sugar-free option, the random ingredients on the back label aren't even close to dosages that would cause you real harm.
Look, I’m not saying these are some kind of wellness elixir.
But the pure panic surrounding them is completely overblown.
The only thing you genuinely need to keep an eye on is the caffeine content, purely because of how it impacts your heart rate and blood pressure.
Even so, the 160mg packed into a standard can is pretty tame when you realize a basic drip coffee from Starbucks can easily blow past 400mg…
You don't need to fit these into your routine.
But can we finally stop acting like they’re some kind of unique poison?
