Due to cold temperatures forecast for later this evening, the flu clinic that was scheduled for outdoors at the Stadium has been moved to Thunderhill Classroom (basement level--door faces Trivette dining). 5:00-8:00pm. Just bring your AppCard and come see us!!

COVID Testing During Winter Break Closure

If you are seeking COVID testing, please be aware that free testing is available at the Watauga County Health Department on most weekdays. You can follow this link to schedule testing in their online portal: https://www.apphealthcare.com/covid-19-information/

The flyer below also details how to schedule testing through the Appalachian Regional Health (Hospital) System. (Their testing options are not free but would be billable to insurance.)

Other local options for testing during the break include rapid antigen testing through CVS and Boone Drug. Cost details can be discussed with those entities.

If you live in another county, we suggest that you call your local health department to inquire about local testing availability.
