I sure would love to understand the mentality of engineers🤦‍♂️ let's take a perfectly functioning fuel pump and save a few bucks buy designing one that is inferior so that people can just pay to go back to using the one that already worked 🤣🤬🤬🤬 thankfully figured out a fine way of building a very nice CP3 conversion kit to remove the piece of s**t CP4 that damn near left me and the fam stranded on the side of a 2 lane back country hi-way in Central Montana...... seriously, wtf over?!?!

Almost a week post-op (5 days), already making huge progress on the CPM machine, so far no infection on any of the surgical sites, they had to make 3 incisions and took off about 1/3 of the bone mass on my femoral joint going into my hip, which according to the Dr was the most amount of bone he'd ever had to remove in order to shape my femur correctly, he was able to stitch up what was left of my labrum, but unfortunately I had torn a pretty good sized piece completely to shreds and was not capable of replacing it. All things considered, things are going well. Praising God for what was fixed and healing! I'll be back to fishing, rod building and all the normal stuff in no time! Approx 7 more weeks to go!!

For those that know, I've essentially been absent on the water since last fall as family and work (my real day job), have kept me........well, more than occupied to say the very least, so much to the point that even if I had a free day on the weekend I spent it trying to sleep or just do nothing, talking myself out of getting out and doing the things I know help reset my sense of peace in the outdoors. Thankfully my mother and father in-laws celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past weekend and happen to live close enough to one of my favorite fisheries and I was able to two wonderful things in one weekend. I truly hope to still be as in love with my wife as the two of them are after 50 years, they are a rare and special couple and I love them dearly. I also got a "me" day after with my brother in law and watched him land his first steelhead. brother, I don't know where I'd be without you as a friend, thank you for making this day work out!!!
